"I don't know how much use they'd have. I pretty much constantly wear the labcoat these days," she admits, glancing around them as she realizes they're in a very public place and talking honestly probably isn't going to happen. "I'm well enough, I suppose," she says, though her eyes are haunted. "Unfortunately, while I was on vacation in Puerto Rico, one of my friends unexpectedly passed," she says, hoping Sam knows enough about what's going on to read between the lines.

"It's left us all a bit changed," she adds.
